Microbiome Engineering for Sustainable Biofuels and Biochemical Production
Welcome to Shrestha Lab!
Shrestha Lab in the Department of Environmental Health and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University focuses on developing anaerobic biotechnologies to produce bioenergy, biochemicals, and biomaterials from sustainable biomass. We work at the interface of environmental and chemical engineering, microbiome engineering, and modeling to take a holistic approach to addressing some of the key environmental challenges we face today.
